What Does Assessment Involve?
You and other parents/guardians will have a conversation with Dr. Kristin to share information about your child’s history, family history, and other topics
Your child will complete a range of activities, including answering questions, solving puzzles, and doing tasks similar to schoolwork
You and other adults familiar with your child (i.e., teachers) may be asked to complete questionnaires
Your child will spend time talking with Dr. Kristin. Young children may have a chance to play or draw
What Comes of Assessment?
A summary of your child’s strengths and weaknesses
A diagnosis, if appropriate
Key recommendations aimed at helping you to support your child through their next stage of growth
